♥ Turning my kitchen into a food science lab! There's so many different batches of fermenting, pickling and whatever-ing things in my house. It's fantastic!
♥ Pokemon - pre-ordered it way back in September and finally it is MINE! Gave Black to Mr. Rainbow & I've been playing White like crazy. So many new Pokemon to memorize...
♥ Sake. My parents used to drink sake heated up in a server and cup set my Oba brought over from Japan. Well, instead, I've found a company that make sake here in Oregon and it is DELICIOUS - some infused flavors too. It was on sale at the local Uwajimaya & I may have bought A LOT of bottles.
♥ Watching some of my favorite movies from childhood. Mostly Space Jam.
♥ Rainicorns.
♥ Relaxing nerd out days spent with Mr. Rainbow and our friend.
♥ Signing myself up for a burlesque class! Extremely nervous and excited at the same time.
Off to eat some green tea ice cream! Have a wonderful evening.

Things I Love Thursday
♥ Sailor Moon! Currently re/watching the entire series - Sailor Uranus & Neptune are finally here!
♥ New ear piercings. There was recently a Groupon in my area for 1/2 off piercings at an amazing piercing/tattoo studio, which was the final push I needed to get my 2nd ear piercings.
♥ Fermenting. Right now I've got about 5 'experiments' going on in the kitchen and received my copy of Wild Fermentation in the mail last Friday. Yay!
♥ Watching Life is Beautiful with friends while eating the slow cooker jambalaya he made! Nom.
♥ Spending all morning cuddling with my partner and our two cats, Magic & Captain.
♥ The new My Little Pony series - Friendship is Magic. I love the original and held out for a while. It is ridiculously cute though and it's done by Lauren Faust. My resistance didn't last long.
Have a wonderful Thursday! Off to eat the giant primal/paleo meatloaf I made (^_^)

♥ My collection of footie pajamas. For the past few years, my family has gotten me a pair or two from the children's section at Target. 6 and counting!

To Beer or not to Beer?
Quick follow up on the beer rinse from this Monday!
Hair took a little while to dry (it's bra strap length and curly), which isn't unusual. Upon drying, it felt crinkly and looked shiny, as though I'd put gel in my hair (not necessarily naturally shiny). It wound up not smelling like beer once dry, which is fantastic!
After brushing my hair out a bit and playing with it, it lost some of the stiff feeling. I left my hair to stew overnight and yesterday it actually felt a little greasy! Perhaps the beer was a tad too moisturizing or left some gunk on my hair. Either way, my normally curly (never greasy) hair looked like I'd come back from a salon that likes to use pomade. Interesting. Luckily braided pigtails worked out fine...
Overall? I don't think I'd do this again. This might work for someone with dry or straight hair, couldn't tell ya. Seems like I'll have to stick to throwing out the beers Mr. Rainbow doesn't finish...what a waste (T_T)
